Deams And Visions
Contributed by Martin Spoelstra on May 30, 2023 (message contributor)
God is speaking to millions of Muslims through Deams and Visions. Throughout the Muslim world, there is a tremendous underground move to Christianity. Hassan was a part of that underground church in Cairo, one of Islam's spiritual capitals. And so, Hassan, a former Muslim wakes up in the middle of the night with a hand across his mouth and he looks up. There’s a man with a black hood over his face with a gun who says get dressed and come with me now. Hassan was an underground church planter and as he leads people to faith in Christ, he disciples them.
They leave in the middle of the night. Hassan starts to follow this gunman walking through the streets in Cairo, kind of the old section of Cairo, not far from some of the areas like Al-Azhar University. The man leads him through the streets and goes into this building. So, he says, “Alright, climb up the stairs to the top of the building.” Once at the top, he looks at him and says, “Now we gotta get a running start and jump from the top of this building to the top of this building over there.” Hassan says, “I can do that.” The gunman says, “I do it all the time. So, you must do it” and points the gun at him. Hassan thinks to himself, “So either I fall off the building or get shot to death.” So, they go to the far edge of the building to get a running start and jumps, tumbles over on the other building. The gunman jumps, lands right next to Hassan and says, “See that hatch? Open it up.” So, he opened the hatch and they had to climb down the ladder. At the bottom are 10 men sitting in a circle around a lamp.
Then the gunman climbs down, pulls off the mask and he looks at him and says, “We are all underground believers. We are all Imams that studied at Al-Azhar University, we started to have dreams about Jesus. We didn’t know what to do. And the Holy Spirit led us together. We found a copy of the New Testament, but we need some help. So, I’m sorry I brought a Gun and threatened you, but I knew you would not follow me unless I did. We want to know more about Jesus.”
