As we conclude Galatians today, I want to further discuss your freedom in Christ. This entire letter is about not giving up your freedom in Christ for rituals.

When I worked for McDonald’s in Canyon, TX; I was an Assistant Manager. It was around this time of year, which meant we sold many fish sandwiches. We were busy, and a woman, (who I knew) came inside the Restaurant and said to me, “I told you no tartar sauce”; and then preceded to rub that sauce off of the bun onto my face and down to my shirt. Of course, in my mind I was not thinking nice things; but my response was, “I am very sorry, let me get you what you ordered”. Why did I react this way? I worked with several people who were not saved, and they were always looking for a reason to say negative things about Christianity.

I was free to handle that situation however I wanted to, and I chose to live free in Christ. By the way, this woman who was an important member of an important Baptist Church in town; returned the next day to apologize to me. What do you do with your freedom in Christ?
