The Flu
Contributed by Roberta Karchner on Feb 21, 2020 (message contributor)
After one of our members came down with the flu, was in intensive care for 10 days, we became very aware of how easily it is passed, especially to our elderly members. Which brought about these thoughts.
1) You are 70% Less likely to get the flu (or pass it) if you wash your hands properly. Properly means under running water, with soap for 20 seconds. You can time it by singing happy birthday twice. When God told us to love our neighbor as ourselves, it includes protecting the vulnerable among us.
2) You are 100% less likely to be covered in sin if you confess your sin and accept forgiveness from God. A good solid washing of the soul will keep you well.
