  • Education: I have a BS in Pastoral Ministries from Wesley College in Florence, MS. and I have a MA from Houston Graduate School of Theology. I started pursuing my D min at Carolina Evangelical Divinity School and may continue somewhere if the Lord should lead me to return to school
  • Experience: I have been in some form of Pastoral position since 1999.
  • Family: I have been married to my wife Laura for 33 years. We have five children, 3 are on their own - Jessica 32, Joshua 31, and Justin 27, Jenny 25 [and just recently married] and Jeremy 21.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: Since my wife Laura is also a pastor, I really do hear about what she thinks of my sermons and appreciate her input as well.
  • Books that have had an impact: My favorite writer is Wesley Duewel, so any of his books have made an impact. I also enjoy "Called to be Holy" by Dr. Oswalt
  • What I want on my tombstone: Here lies the shell - the nut is already gone!
