About Keith
  • Education: I am a graduate of the Knoxville, TN Police Department - Chaplain Academy; the Tennessee Fire Chaplain’s Association - Basic Chaplain Academy; and the East Tennessee Regional Law Enforcement Training Academy.
  • Experience: I was the Senior Pastor at Antioch Baptist Church - Dandridge, TN for five years.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: When looking at my sermons, you will find that all of my sermons display salvation from a God-centered standpoint rather than a man-centered one. I have a very firm belief in the "Doctrines of Grace"
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: T.U.L.I.P. (sermon series on the Doctrines of Grace) by Dr. John Piper
  • Family: I am married and the father of three wonderful children. My youngest child was born with Cerebral Palsy, and several mental and physical disabilities. He died on November 4, 2005 at the age of 9yrs,1mo,and 9days. I miss him more than I could ever imagine.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: My parents do not understand my Calvinistic views and prefer to converse on other topics.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: My wife has no problem giving constructive criticism after I preach (lol), but as far as doctrine is concerned, my wife completely supports and accepts my Calvinistic view of Salvation.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Given to me by my former Pastor: "Stand up, Speak up, and when the time comes, Shut up".
  • Books that have had an impact: "A Godward Life" (Books I & II) by Dr. John Piper "The Reformed Pastor" by Richard Baxter
  • Hobbies: I am an avid Fisherman and lover of the Universtiy of Tennessee football program.
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: I would say that Man is Totally Depraved and without God is not capable of seeking after Him. God Unconditionally Elects unto Salvation those whom He is pleased to. Christ Died to save those whom God has elected. The Grace of God is Irresistable and once a person has been saved, he can be sure that the Lord will preserve him unto the end.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: The first time I preached there was a bird that had entered the building and was flying around distracting the congregation.
  • What I want on my tombstone: TO GOD BE THE GLORY

We are confronted with the same group of false apostles as Paul was in his day : Those who seek to dispute the Inerrancy, Infallibility, and Divine Inspiration of the Holy Scriptures; and in so doing, seek to lead us away from the Truth of God’s Word

PAUL’S CERTIFICATION. (Vv. 11-12) As Paul defended his apostleship in (v. 1), he now defends his message. Paul says that the Gospel he preaches is not intended to please men (tickle ears), nor is it of human origin. It could not be of man because it did not come to him from a man, but from a ...read more

In a world where men are perverting the Gospel in the name of "Religious Unity", let us find the strength to stand fast and preach Christ ALONE!

THE COURSE OF THE GALATIANS (Vv. 6-7) "I marvel that you are turning away so soon..." I think it is safe to say that at least, part of the Galatian Christians were believers (v. 9), but they were being led astray by false teachers; We read in (Acts 18:23-28) that Paul had preached the Gospel ...read more

"In a world full of uncertainties, we feel that nothing is stable enough for us to hold on to. When the world and the devil seem to upset our grasp on life, have no fear Christian, for God has given us a firm lifeline to tightly grip: HIMSELF!" 1. IT IS VITALLY IMPORTANT TO HAVE A FIRM GRASP OF BIBLE DOCTRINE. THE FOLLOWING IS A SAMPLE OF WHAT BAPTIST’S BELIEVE.

Assurance of Salvation. (1 John 3:9) "Whoever has been born of God does not (continue to) sin, because His seed remains in him; and he cannot (go on) sinning, because he has been born of God."
