  • Education: B.A. Charleston Southern University (formerly Baptist College At Charleston, SC (major in Religion, double minors in Psychology & English) The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Ky.(Pastoral Care major) Trinity Theological Seminary, Newburgh, Indiana, (MA Biblical Counseling) Currently one-half complete working on a PH.D. at Trinity Theological Seminary in the discipline of Conflict Management.

  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Dr. Wallace Rogers, one of my beloved professors at Baptist College At Chrarleston, and former pastor in Charleston, SC once told me while we were talking in his office at Baptist College: "Jimmy, when your youth and charm are gone, you better know something significant about God’s Word because that’s what you can rely upon to carry you through."
  • Books that have had an impact: Anything concerning Managing Conflict.
  • Hobbies: Horses, Mechanics, Mrytle Beach
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: I once had a glass eyeball roll down the isle while officiating a wedding.
