Why Sunday?
Contributed on Apr 24, 2024
When you look at the letter of the Law, you demand one day only. When you look at the principle or purpose of the Law you see the grace that Paul spoke of and why Gentiles were not required to be under naught but the moral law.
Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. KJV The question is often asked why most Christians meet on Sunday instead of Saturday. Let's look first at the definition of the word in both Hebrew and Greek sincere will be looking at it it from the OT and NT sides. OT:7676 shabbath ...read more

Rapture
Contributed on Apr 20, 2024
A brief apology for the Pre-Tribulation Rapture
Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. This pretty much ends the argument of the Pre-Trib Rapture being a new or recent doctrine. It is more like the seal being slowly broken as ...read more

Truth Or Theology
Contributed on Apr 8, 2024
Are we really seeking God's truth or defending our theologies and traditions?
The irony is that the most avid defenders of His sovereignty deny Him the right to create a plan of salvation that allows man free will to accept or reject His plan thus opposing His sovereignty. The most avid defenders of free will deny God the right to keep that which He saved until the end ...read more

Ravenous Wolves

The wolves are now rich enough to buy the best sheep's clothing, but a true shepherd can sniff them out.

My Tithing Testimony
Contributed on Mar 6, 2024
Say what you want, but God blessed me when I started tithing.
Mal 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me ...read more

Trust Issues
Contributed on Jul 18, 2022
John 2:23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. 24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, 25 and needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man. As I ...read more

Are You Serving Or Souring
Contributed on Jun 13, 2022
If you are not serving where you are do not expect to be called to somewhere else to serve. Act 13:2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. Saul/Paul and Barnabas were already serving in the church ...read more

Questions That Churches Must Ask Themselves
Contributed on Jun 7, 2022
Why is this church here or what really is our mission? Are we truly fulfilling our mission? How did we get here? Were we a split or the first of our faith? If a split, was it because of doctrine or something/someone else? If we are the first, have we fallen from our first love position or is ...read more

Cloudy Days
Contributed on Sep 18, 2021
My wife told me about a dream where she is looking up at a cloudy sky with two arms sticking through the clouds and says, I love you. The arms sign back to her, "I love you." I am cautious about dreams and interpretations because most are just our brains doing what we call in the IT ...read more

Evil Has Arrived
Contributed on Sep 7, 2021
I am afraid that if Paul Revere rode through our towns crying, "The evil is coming! The evil is coming" Church folks would go back to sleep instead of rising to arms and in the morning have him arrested for disturbing the peace. The same works for revival. The call may come and God ...read more
