About AL
  • Education: I am a graduate of "Living Logos" Apostolic Bible School, 5 years of Jail Ministry, Outreach Minister and presently Pastor of Crossroads Christian Center Apostolic Church, and Founder of Crossroads School Biblical Studies International.
  • Experience: Director of Crossroads School of Biblical Studies International 5 years, and pastor for 4 years. Editor of two Christian Newsletters - Apostolic Light Christian News, and The Pentecostal Guardian News.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: If this sermon or sermons can help you, feel free to use them.
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Pastor Larry Brooker, sermon of "He is more than a Carpenter". Taken from Mark 26:1. How man’s perceptions of who Jesus is can either build you up or keep you as you are not realizing the revelation of Jesus Christ and who He is!
  • Family: I am married to Melody Edmonds, who is activity involved in our Ministry Director of Christian Education, and Director of our Ladies Ministry.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: Honey, alway remember before you preach, "Hold on to the Savior, And thank Him for caring, Enough to help lift...That cross that you’re carrying...and you will do well.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Be yourself, be faithful, lot’s and lot’s of prayer time and let God use you to His glory.
  • Books that have had an impact: 1. "Trophies of Heaven" by Ron Knott. He is sharing many of his personal experiences in soul-winning. 2. "Old-Time Preacher Men" by Mary H. Wallace. Conviction, commitment, and courage of the pioneer Pentecostal preachers. 3. Search for Truth, Bible Study, and many others.
  • Hobbies: Reading, writing and fellowshipping with God’s people.
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Remembering the scripture: "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it" (Isaiah 55:11). Please Lord, let your Word touch someone, who ever it may be.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: The first time I pronounce the word Jabez, in a sermon. We all had to laugh.

Jacob, Abraham’s grandson, had a life-changing experience at Bethel (House of God). "Do not love sleep or you will grow poor; stay awake and you will have food to spare. Proverbs 20:13 NIV.

The text we read, was spoken by Malachi to Israel, a defeated nation. Malachi was God’s last mouthpiece to Israel before the four hundred years of God’s silence to his people.
