On Good Friday, we pause at the cross and remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Pierced for our transgressions and crushed for our iniquities, He bore our sin and shame so that we might have peace. At the cross, justice and mercy meet, grace is poured out, and the Lamb of God takes away the sin of the world. Today, we linger in awe of the Savior who declared, “It is finished,” and we remember the depth of God’s love revealed through the cross.
