The Bible…do you read it? Do you cherish it? Do you hide it in your heart? Is it a consistent part of your journey or does it sit and collect dust? Do you apply it your whole life or just listen to the parts that are convenient for you? The Bible is God’s Word to His people. It’s the blueprint by which we walk this life. It’s comfort in times of need and clarity in times of confusion. It’s a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. It’s wisdom when there is confusion, and certainty when there is doubt. It is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
