FOR WITH GOD NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE: Luke 1:37

1.PROMISE

To experience the impossible becoming possible we must believe the promise of God . The promise of God is a revelation of His will and purpose . When we act in obedience to His will He will back us up. We can be sure that God will fufill His promises. We should not step out recklessly in attempting the impossible but should ensure that we have the promise of God in that situation. To experience the impossible we must believe the promise of God with all our heart.

Numbers 23:19

God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

Isaiah 55:11

so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Romans 4: 17-21

As it is written: "I have made you a father of many nations." He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed--the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not.

Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, "So shall your offspring be."

Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead --since he was about a hundred years old --and that Sarah’s womb was also dead.

Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,

being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

2.PRAYER

To experience the impossible becoming possible we must have an effectual and fervent prayer which availeth much . Elijah prayed earnestly and nature responded to his prayers. Jesus told us to pray and not give up until we get the answer. To experience the impossible we must pray fervently and persistantly.

James 5:16-18

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years.

Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.

Luke 18:1-8

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

He said: "In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought.

And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ’Grant me justice against my adversary.’

"For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ’Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think,

yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’"

And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says.

And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?

I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"

3.PRAISE

To experience the impossible becoming possible we must praise and worship God even in impossible situations.Paul and Silas praised God in the midst of an impossible situation. They praised God when they were in agony inside a prison. God responded to their praise and delivered them.To experience the impossible we must praise God with our whole heart even in impossible situations.

Acts 16:25-26

After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully.

When he received these orders, he put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks.

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.

Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.

Psalm 149:6-9

May the praise of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands,

to inflict vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples,

to bind their kings with fetters, their nobles with shackles of iron,

to carry out the sentence written against them--this is the glory of all his faithful people. Praise the Lord.

4.POSITIVITY

To experience the impossible becoming possible we must have a positive attitude of faith . We must believe that our prayers will be answered .All things are possible to him who believes. If we can believe we shall see the glory of God. We must put away all doubt and unbelief and fear and instead fill our hearts with faith and confidence in God. To experience the impossible we must have a strong faith.

Mark 11:24

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Mark 9:17-23

A man in the crowd answered, "Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech.

Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not."

"You unbelieving generation," Jesus replied, "how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me."

So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.

Jesus asked the boy’s father, "How long has he been like this?" "From childhood," he answered.

"It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us."

"’If you can’?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for one who believes."

John 11:40

Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?"

Hebrews 11:1,6

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

5.PROCLAMATION

To experience the impossible becoming possible we must boldly proclaim words of faith and confidence. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. We must speak words that bring life and blessing and hope . Just as small rudder controls the direction of a large ship , the words of our mouth will determine the direction and destiny of our life. We must avoid destructive words of unbelief and fear and hopelessness.Jesus healed the daughter of a woman in response to her words of faith. An angel visited Daniel in response to his words that touched the heart of God.To experience the impossible we must bold proclaim words of faith.

Proverbs 18:21

The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

James 3:2-5

We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.

When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal.

Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go.

Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark.

Mark 7:29

Then he told her, "For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter."

Daniel 10:12

Then he continued, "Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.

6.PURITY

To experience the impossible becoming possible we must have a life of purity.Joshua told the people ’sanctify yourselves for tommorow the Lord will do wonders among you ’. The hand of the Lord is not shortened that it cannot save but our iniquities can prevent the hand of God from doing wonders in our lives. The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are perfect towards Him. To experience the impossible we must have a life of purity.

Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.

But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.

I John 3:21-22

Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God

and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.

II Chronicles 16:9

For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. You have done a foolish thing, and from now on you will be at war. "

7.PATIENCE

To experience the impossible becoming possible we must have patience until the time of fulfillment of the promise. God has a time for every blessing .We must have patience after we have the done the will of God to inherit the promise. We must through faith and promise inherit the promise. We must believe even before we see the fulfillment for faith is the substance of things hope for and the evidence of things not seen. We please God by our faith in him.To experience the impossible we must have patience until the promise is fulfilled.

We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
