Embracing the freedom and unhindered faith that comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ and living in the Kingdom of God.
Today, we're gonna talk about something living an unhindered life of faith. Sometimes we feel like something's holding us back, like we're missing out on the amazing things God has for us. Well, God wants us to live free and unhindered lives, and we're gonna explore how to do that together.
But first, let me show you something. (Bring out a large, heavy chain.) Check out this chain. It's heavy, right? Imagine if you had to carry this around all the time. It would slow you down and make life pretty difficult. Well, sometimes we feel like we're carrying around chains in our faith, but Jesus wants to set us free from those chains.
God wants us to live free and unhindered lives
Our main Scripture for today is Acts 28:30-31, where we see the Apostle Paul living an unhindered life, even while under house arrest. He was preaching and teaching about Jesus, and nothing could hold him back. That's the kind of life God wants for us too!
When Jesus came, everything changed. He set us free from the chains of sin and death, and now we can live in the freedom of God's kingdom. Remember what Jesus said in John 8:36, 'So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.' We don't have to be weighed down by the chains of sin anymore!
God didn't just set us free; He also poured out His love on us in an extravagant way. Ephesians 1:3-10 talks about how God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing and lavished His love on us through Jesus. That's some serious love!
Now, let's think about how this applies to our lives. What chains are holding you back in your faith? Maybe it's fear, doubt, or feeling unworthy. Whatever it is, remember that Jesus has set you free, and you can live an unhindered life in God's kingdom.
'Dear God, thank You for setting us free from the chains of sin and death. Help us to live unhindered lives in Your kingdom, knowing that You have lavished Your love on us. Show us the areas where we're still holding onto chains, and give us the strength to let them go. In Jesus' name, Amen.'
