Summary: The Lord is looking down the corridors of time, He accurately and precisely revealed the future to us. He even pointed to a certain point in time when He would come. No one knows the Hour, but we can know the time right up to it. There is detail in this!

Writing History in advance The Bible has a lot to say when predicting future.

Ok, I will paint a large picture here, we will go over the lay of the Land. If you want the detail, look at my links and go and study it. Nevertheless, I will give you a lot of information -but only an outline

In Daniel 2:1-19 God gives King Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, a dream about the future. Then He used Daniel to interpret the dream. It turned out to be a prophecy. This prophecy reveals the world’s future empires; The prophecy commences at the time of the Kingdom of Babylon and it reaches down all the way to the second coming - and beyond.

In Daniel 2:20-23, 27-36. 2:27-36,39 - 44 When summoned to interpret the kings dream, Daniel explained and said, Blessed be the name of God, He set kings up, and He remove them. 27 Daniel explained: there is a God in heaven that reveal secrets, Thy vision is given by God to inform him what should come to pass hereafter, in the last days.

So, Daniel, being given the interpretation of the dream then explained to the King what he had dreamed. Here’s the dream:

He said 31 Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. 32 This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, 33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.

Then, something supernatural happened, without human intervention: Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet of iron and clay, and it broke them to pieces. The stone hit the feet with such a force, that it turned into fine dust. It became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried it away and it was no more.

Remember the stone. The stone was cut out without human hands - What is the significance of this supernatural stone? The stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

What could all of this mean?

Fortunately for us the interpretation is in the Bible, so, no guessing, no speculating.

What do we know so far?

We already know that, by means of this dream, God, in advance, predicts the future kingdoms; how they would rise and how they would fall. He is foretelling history; it concerns future kingdoms - history in advance. We also know that there was an image, made out of Gold silver, brass, iron, and iron mixed with clay. The image was then strucked, by a supernatural stone – (a supernatural event concerning a Kingdom to come) We know it’s a prophecy, casting down into the future, all the way right down to the very last day of planet earth's history, and beyond.

Then he laid the future out. And He told the interpretation thereof before the king.

Starting with Nebuchadnezzar’s kingdom he explained: 39 After your kingdom, shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, (according to history books, we now know it to be, Medio Persia) but the Bible says it too Dan 5:28 Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

God foretold the overthrow, long before it happened - in advance, the Bible even describes how they would be defeated. The Bible even names the one who would conquer Babylon (Nearly 150 years before the birth of Cyrus), the prophet Isaiah foretold it, Isaiah 45:1)

So, we have Babylon and Medio Persia, and according to history, Greece followed (They were known for their brass weapons) just as in the Bible describes them.

Then, the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh, it will break and subdue all things and bruise - According to history, what came next was Rome, they were known for being unstoppable, because of their iron weapons. Just as in the Bible describes them - This is the nation that crucified our Savior.

From here on, according to history, the world governing kingdom seized to exist. The kingdoms that followed were divided kingdoms; Rome was divided into ten smaller kingdoms. (As with the ten toes) Rome was the last "one world" governing kingdom.

So, does this part of the dream line up with the Bible? Precisely, The Bible says it will be divided, they will not mix, just as iron and clay does not mix. They shall mingle themselves with the seed of men but they won’t mix. (They tried, they failed)

Where in history are we now? {We are this divided kingdom} What’s left on the prophetic calendar – The supernatural stone of course? So, according to the Bible, there will be a next Kingdom. Look how the Bible describes it: And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a Kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and it shall stand for ever. So, in our time, the end will come – This is just about now- caprish?
