Dear friend, don’t let this bad example influence you. Follow only what is good. Remember that those who do good prove that they are God’s children, and those who do evil prove that they do not know God.

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

Acts 10:38
how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
- Jesus he is the perfect example of doing good
- He lived his life to obey the father in every way
- he was going good everywhere he went or was
- he was feeding the poor , healing the sick ,and praying for them
2. THE OPPOSITE OF GOOD
Is not esay to do what is good

I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway.
- we are in the spiritual battle against good and evil inside of ourselves even the devil himself
- the good thing is that we have the holy spirit encouraging us to do what is good and avoid evil

What good is it , if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.

- Abraham showed his faith by his actions he was about to offer his son to God
- His faith worked together with his actions
- Because of his faith he was called a child of God

They say they know God, but the evil things they do show that they don’t accept him. They are disgusting. They refuse to obey God and are not capable of doing anything good.
4. IS NOT FAITH IF YOU CAN SEE IT

- He prepared for what he has never seen
- By building the boad he showed deeds thr was action each and everyday
5. FAITH COMES FROM HEARING
Romans 10:17
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

- Seek for positive sound , something that will build you, something that will heal you
2 Kings 5:10
Elisha sent Naaman a messenger who said, “Go and wash in the Jordan River seven times. Then your skin will be healed, and you will be clean.”
Naaman became angry and left. He said, “I thought Elisha would surely come out and stand before me and call on the name of the Lord his God. I thought he would wave his hand over the place and heal the disease.
2 Kings 5:14
So Naaman went down and dipped in the Jordan seven times, just as Elisha had said. Then his skin became new again, like the skin of a child. And he was clean.
6. FAITH SAVES
Psalms 3:7
Come, LORD ! Save me, my God! You punish all my enemies and leave them powerless to harm me.
Daniel 3 : 16 -17 God saves Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from fire

7. PRAY FOR FAITH ( Not just Faith but the faith that James he is emphasizing )

I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.

Elijah was a person just like us. He prayed that it would not rain. And it did not rain on the land for three and a half years!
