II Cor 9:11

“You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”

“Para que estéis enriquecidos en todo para toda bondad, la cual obra por nosotros hacimiento de gracias á Dios.”

 Do you know what this is? – It is a cornucopia.

It is also sometimes called a horn of plenty.

At one time, the cornucopia was made from a curved goat’s horn that was hollowed out and filled with fruit and grains. Today, the cornucopia is usually made from a basket like this one. It is often used as a decoration around Thanksgiving because the cornucopia is a symbol of all of the good things that we have to enjoy.

II Cor 9:10

“Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.”

“Y el que da simiente al que siembra, también dará pan para comer, y multiplicará vuestra sementera, y aumentará los crecimientos de los frutos de vuestra justicia”

We have a lot to be thankful for, don’t we? What are some of the things for which you have to be thankful? (give them some time to name some things)

Who can tell me what special day do we have next week? Thanksgiving.

The Bible tells us that every good and every perfect gift comes from God. It also says to "give thanks to the Lord for his love and for his wonderful deeds." So, let’s be sure that we thank him for his love and goodness.
