God's Buffer Zone

TEXT: EXODUS 12:13 (NIV)

"The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt."

GOSHEN, ISRAEL'S BUFFER ZONE

When the ten plagues from God tormented Egypt, the city of Goshen, where the people of God dwelt was untouched. God created a buffer zone around Goshen to protect his people from the destructive effects of the plagues.

"And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth." (Exo 8:22).

When the angel of death visited Egypt and killed every first male offspring, the blood of the unblemished Lamb sprinkled on the lentil was a buffer around the household of every Israeli (Exo 12:13).

I pray for you today, the arrows of enemies will not touch you and your family members in Jesus name.

THE BLOOD OF JESUS, THE BELIEVER BUFFER ZONE

In the same manner, the blood of Jesus, shed on the cross of Calvary, is God's buffer zone for every believer in Christ. The blood of Jesus is a mark upon every believer. The precious blood of Jesus is the ransom for sin paid by God for the redemption of every one that believes.

"For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God" (1 Pet 1:18-19).

Once a sinner accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, an everlasting covenant is sealed between the believer and God with the blood of Jesus. As long as the believer obeys the tenets of the covenant, the believer becomes God's own special possession, His peculiar treasure (1 Pet 2:9).

A protective hedge is created around the believer. The enemy of the saints of God, Satan will try all he can to steal, kill and destroy the faith of the believer but the children of God will always overcome him by the blood of the unblemished Lamb (Jesus) as revealed in Rev 12:11: "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb..." Satan could not touch Job because of God's hedge around him. God built a buffer around Job and all the devil's attempt to destroy Job failed because Job obeyed God's commandments. Satan lamented in Job 1:10: "Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land." Satan could only reach Job when God allowed him.

I pray for you, every device and enterprise of demonic agents will be disappointed in Jesus name. The blood of Jesus will speak for you in the day of trouble. You will overcome in the mighty name of Jesus.

Because the mark of the blood of Jesus is upon you, the angels of God are your guards (Ps 91:11-12). God watchers over his own special people. He neither sleeps nor slumbers because of them, He promised to carry and care for every believer in Christ for their entire lifetime.(Isa 46:4).

For the rest of your lifetime, the Lord will care for and carry you. He will never leave or forsake you. His buffer zone around you and your family will not be broken in Jesus name

You can only be inside God's buffer zone if you belong to God's family. You can join today by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and commit to live a holy life.
