Summary: MAY THE STRENGTH OF GOD REST UPON YOU....GREATER THAN THAT OF SAMSON

BE STRONG

MAIN TEXT: EPHESIANS 6: 10

Finally my brethren be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might

PHILIPPIANS 4:13

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me

The clause “Be strong” is a word of encouragement to all who claim to be Christians and are devoted unto God.

The moment you declare Christ as your lord and personal savior, the devil becomes angry and draws a battle line against you with the core aim of getting you back to himself (his kingdom). But he will never succeed, Amen! The bible says, “He is a thief, which comes to steal, kill, and destroy”…John 10:10a. So he employs every measure in actualizing his wicked goal. Such strategies are temptation and trials etc.

Many so called “Christians” have fallen away from the victory track Jesus Christ placed them to run through and are running through the deadly, regretful devil-given track, consciously or unconsciously due to their inability to endure challenges, remain focused in Christ and insensitive to the devil’s wiles.

Today, we are encouraged again to “be strong” in the lord, under rain and sunshine. And to draw our strength on a daily basis, through studying and meditating on God’s word, constant fellowship with God, confessing Jesus as our hope of glory and strength, and remaining sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

WE SHOULD LEARN TO ALWAYS DRAW STRENGTH FROM GOD
