Summary: In this fourth and final message we discover that THE FIX FOR THE LAUGHTER OF SCORN IS THE RESURRECTION!!!
I marvel at the Awesome Wisdom of God: He gave us the Gift of Laughter!
To Laugh is to show mirth, Joy or Scorn with a smile or chuckle or explosive sound. To Laugh is to find pleasure or amusement in something.
Some things are Laughable, Funny.
Some are Ludicrous - so absurd or preposterous that they excite both laughter and scorn or sometimes pity.
Some are Ridiculous - extremely foolish.
Some things are Comical - arouses thoughtful amusement; even unrestrained, spontaneous hilarity.
I. OFTEN WE ENCOUNTER THE LAUGHABLE - THAT WHICH SEEMS RIDICULOUS, UNBELIEVABLE: JUST DOWN RIGHT FUNNY.
II. OCASSIONALYY, GOD CAUSES US TO LAUGH -UNRESTAINED, SPONTANEOUS HILARITY.

III. OFTEN WE ENCOUNTER THE LAUGHTER OF SCORN - TO LAUGH AT, MAKE FUN OF.
TO BE PRIVY TO INFORMATION THE OTHER PARTY DOES NOT HAVE. TO KNOW SOMETHING UNKNOWN TO THE OTHER PARTY.
THE LAUGHTER OF SCORN IN OUR TEXT IN MARK 5:40.
THE HEIGHT OF FOLLY AND SUPIDITY IS TO MAKE FUN OF JESUS! DO WE THINK WE KNOW SOMETHING HE DOES NOT KNOW?
IV. GOD KNOWS HOW TO LAUGH: HE SHALL HAVE THE LAST LAUGH!
