Wheat And Tare Believers Series

Summary: Wheat and Tare believers were both grown in God’s Kingdom but can be differentiated as they grow, as they mature and as they bear fruits.
"...who hath ears to hear,let him hear." is the conclusion of Our LORD regarding this message, and this is also the words imparted to our churches nowadays. Many supposedly Christians are attending our Services every Sunday but why is it that they do not live enough to the power of God’s words?
INTRODUCTION:
Jesus had drawn an analogy when asked by His disciples as to what He mean about the parable. Jesus explained to them the parable this way:
Farmer: Jesus
Field : world
Good Seed:Children of the Kingdom
Tares: Evil one
Enemy:Satan
Harvest:End of the world
Harvesters:God’s Angels
We noticed that the Wheat and Tares were grown together in God’s Kingdom as stated in verses 30&41. One Church,same field, same growth, same appearance...
As we will see later, they will soon differ as they mature, as they show forth their fruits.You will recognize their disparity.They will be different from their language, actions, interests and destinations.
BODY:
I-WHO ARE THE TARE BELIEVERS?:
1.Pretenders-v.25
You will be deceived. They look exactly like wheat.They raise their hands also when they praise and worship God. They shout hallelujah at the top of their voice. They dress Christians. They speak Christians. You can encounter them in every Church service and activities.
In fact, you can see them in committees,boards,etc...
These tares bears closest resemblance to wheat...
until the ears appear. Only then that the difference is discovered!
2.Produce Poisonous Seeds:
A.Soporific seed-
Tares were described as Darnel in the Amplified Bible and the Easton’s Bible Dictionary defined darnels as plants that produces Soporific seeds that are poisonous. These seeds have a sleep-inducing effect, produces mental lethargy, hypnotic, showing signs of disinterest on people. No wonder, many people dozes-off to sleep when the Pastor’s preaching! Just
bring insomniacs inside the church and surely they will be healed.
B.Poison-
There is no other word in the Bible when poison is spoken of idiomatically in the New Testament, and that is what the apostle James have given such an emphasis in his Epistle. Let’s read it particularly in James 3:8-10.We can see that the human tongue as he said it,is...Full of Poison!Aha! These are the murmurers, complainers, lyers, backbiters,divisive, corrupt communicators,envious. Their tongues are open sepulchres. The Apostle Peter succinctly stated in IPeter 3:9-12(TEV);
"Do not pay back evil with evil or cursing with
cursing; instead, pay back with a blessing,
because a blessing is what God promised to give
you when He called you."
Compare that also with Psalm 34:12-16
3.Promotes Sin-v.41
The King James Version stated that they are
causes of offense and workers of iniquities. They bring others to the same sin they are doing. They are compromisers. They bring others to stumble on their actions and words.
4.Destination-Hell
II-WHO ARE THE WHEAT-BELIEVERS?:
1.Patient
They are patient inspite of the many trials, tests,living under the world of tares and world system. That these things are a little while and knew that they need more forebearance and after they have done the will of God, they knew that they will inherit a PROMISE!(Heb.10:35-39).
2.Promotes Three Languages
A.Natural Language-
Their words were always seasoned with salt.
They are the encouragers inside the Church. They are the Barnabas. They are the people found in Col.4:6 and Eph.5:4.
B.Faith-Filled Words-
They always open the door for the infilling of the Holy Spirit everyday in their lives. They are full of prayers.
C.Heavenly Language-
Eph.4:29-32
Tongues-1Cor.14:2-4
Groanings-Rom.8:26: this I know is the highest language that we can utter and bring to God. Stained and soaked with tears!
3.Promotes Kingdom Agenda-v.43:
They always support the work of the Ministry without murmur, without any hidden agenda. just like Prov.4:18-20, they shine forth more and more like the noonday sun! Submission is their no.1 agenda.
4.Destination: Heaven
CONCLUSION;
I do believe that in exposing the Character of these believers inside the Church, would hasten the awareness of the Kingdom priorities of winning more souls and preparing them to fruits that remain.Let us not judge.Let us evaluate where our heart and motives stand. Let us learn from the Parable of the Wheat and Tares. Just like John Bevere says:"It is not the anointing that makes up a man of God, it is the Character."
