(a) A Personal Redemption. Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, ie. It Was :-Planned By The Father, Purchased By The Son, & Proclaimed By Holy Spirit Isaiah 63:5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me. (b) A Particular Redemption. 1 Peter 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: (c) A Powerful Redemption. (1) THE PURPOSE OF REDEMPTION from your vain conversation (2) THE PRICE OF REDEMPTION But with the precious blood of Christ (3) THE PARTICIPANTS OF REDEMPTION Forasmuch as ye know ie. III. Of Reception "I have called thee by thy name! (v. 1). There is a General Call. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. There is a Personnal Call Saul - Acts 9:4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? "I have called thee."
