  • Education: Master’s Degree in Ministry Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University. Undergraduate degree in Youth an Music Ministry from Southern Wesleyan University.
  • Experience: Pastor for 15 years.
  • Family: Wife Missy, Son Michael (9), daughter Emily (4).
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She is always giving me a joke to add to my sermons.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Keep it simple. Always give a life application or challenge.
  • Books that have had an impact: "One Size Doesn’t Fit All" "A Church Divided" by Bob Whitesel "Staying Power" by Bob Whitesel "Pastor’s of Turn Around Churches" by Wood
  • Hobbies: Ridding my motorcycle. Computer games. Scifi movies (especially of super heros)
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: My wife was once tapping her wrist while I was preaching. I cut my sermon short because I thought she was telling me I was boring everyone. Later she asked why my sermon was so short. She did not realize she was tapping her wrist. We had a good laugh over it.
