Commenting on the "once saved always saved" ....... Paul wrote to the Ephesians that as believers, we have been "sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory" (Eph 1:13-140 You can choose to receive forgiveness and live in freedom from guilt. you can choose to receive God's love and live in freedom from a doubt-induced fear. You can choose to humble yourself and trust God completely with your life. In making these choices, you can and will know with total assurance that your salvation is eternally secure. Or.... you can choose to hold on to your guilt, nurse your doubts about God's love and remain paralyzed in fear, and continue to strive to "earn" your salvation. What about the blessed assurance that God desires for a person? A person who believes they can lose salvation lives with none of the joy that comes in believing you are secure.
