9 Their mouths lay claim to heaven, 9 and their tongues take possession of the earth.
10 Therefore their people turn to them 10 and drink up waters in abundance.[c] The meaning of the Hebrew for this verse is uncertain.
11 They say, "How would God know? 11 Does the Most High know anything?"
12 This is what the wicked are like— 12 always free of care,S ver 5 they go on amassing wealth.S Ps 49:6 12 Ps 49:6

21 When my heart was grieved 21 and my spirit embittered,

23 Yet I am always with you; 23 you hold me by my right hand.S Ge 48:13
